It’s Jeff.

Welcome to my substack. I don’t really have a plan here. So uhh, yes, onward and upward we go. I see this here ol’ substack as a landing pad for the many forces that make up my creative life. I hate how formulaic social media has become, and I’ve wanted a place that is a bit more, uhh, better? OK, as you can see I’m not actually a great writer. I’m a musician. A layman. A guinness drinker. I’ll be dedicating a lot of substack to music and creativity.

Most mornings I write 3 pages in my journal, then work on music for a bit, until I have to do the other BS to function as a decent human in modern society, which typically involves trying to make my band seem cool and successful even though me and Jake are complete goobers.

Back to the music. I’ve made writing music a rhythm of life. Some days I feel inspired, most days I do not. But once I show up, I always know that’s where I’m supposed to be. I’m excited to share more of that with you.
